There are many repairs and enhancements we offer to elevate the ride quality and behavior of the IH platform for continued enjoyment.

Whether you’re dealing with visible rust or beginning to see cracking in the paint from past repairs that acted more like a temporary “band-aid,” we can often address fabrication needs without requiring a full repaint or complete disassembly.
Every Scout has its own story, and no two repairs are exactly alike. We take the time to evaluate your specific vehicle and recommend the best approach based on what we see—balancing longevity, originality, and your goals for the truck.
Our most common fabrication repairs include inner structural work on 80/800 models, as well as floors, cab mounts, and rocker panels on Scout II and Traveler models.

With the body removed from the frame, we begin by stripping the frame completely. This enables us to repair and add support to the frame along with all new engine and transmission mounts prior to sandblasting and powder coating.
The freshly finished frame is then dressed with custom axles, enhanced steering, four wheel braking, premium suspension, and a crate LS engine mated to a performance built transmission.

Our frame-off restoration begins with complete disassembly of the Scout body, which is then moved to the rotisserie for blasting inside and out. This exposes oftentimes a history of paint jobs and body filler, giving us a clear picture of all structural and cosmetic needs.
Every inch of the Scout is finessed, restored and enhanced as we convert to the GM platform with an LS or LT engine and a customized stance to suit your preferences.
The interior is custom curated with respect to your desired modernizations and finishes, and all exterior trim is chromed, painted or powder coated to achieve the overall look desired.
While many approach an LS Conversion utilizing "low mileage" engines with "refreshed" components, we choose to set ourselves apart. Our Drivability Conversions are built with GM sourced crate engines outfitted with all new, premium components. With the obsolescence of so many Scout inherent parts, our focus is on future-proofing our builds to have a serviceable life well into the future.
This is not just an engine swap.
Adding more power to an aged platform can leave your Scout with poor road manners and expedite cracking at weak points along the frame. This is why we fully address each aspect of the Scout mechanically and along the frame when we transplant the heart.
Each of our Frame off Restorations and Drivability Conversions are up-fitted to include:
